Domino's Pizza Puerto Rico Manager Reaps International Accolades

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - August 7, 2002 - Jorge Evertsz, manager of a Domino's Pizza store in Puerto Rico, was awarded the prestigious title of International Manager of the Year.  The Award was recently presented at the company's Regional Awards ceremony in Orlando.

Evertsz demonstrated his keen leadership this year as he led his store to reach six record weeks and join the ranks of the Domino's Million Dollar Club, for the stores that bring in more than one million dollars a year.  However, even more impressive than that, Evertsz led his store to show a year-to-year increase of 178 percent and increased profits 300 percent.

 "With a 300 percent profit increase, Jorge's numbers speak for themselves," said Patrick Knotts, executive vice president, flawless execution.  "Jorge's numbers also represent his dedication and enthusiasm for Domino's Pizza.  We are truly thrilled to reward him with this honor."

At last year's award event, Evertzs was named the National Rookie Manager of the Year.  The Domino's Pizza Leadership Team selects the award recipients.
